Repurposing

Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.  Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?  I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.                    - Isaiah 43:18-19  Whew!  It's been a journey!  While I am glad to be this far into it, I am saddened that not everything that the Lord has done was documented.  HOWEVER, I will share as He brings it to my remembrance.    I will be using this to post my studies that I share twice a month in church and also to share my personal studies as they arise and the Lord leads me to share them.   The grief and healing journey I have been on since my son passed from suicide is more of an in-person ministry right now as it is a raw and sensitive situation.  I am very protective over my son and his sisters and have an obligation to protect their privacy. Walk in the Spirit

If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. - Galatians 5:25

Do you know what that means?  It means that what I sing on Sunday, I should live on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday... the rest of the week.

Worship isn't just a sound though....
It’s how I speak to people, how I forgive, how I trust when I don’t understand.

Yes, THAT'S worship, too.

Did you know that when we put feet to our worship, our lives start echoing the very words that we lift up.

Heaven isn't just hearing our praise.....it's watching it.

So this morning, before we even sing another note, find that place in your heart that says
“Lord, I don’t JUST want to live in the Spirit HERE....I want to walk in it OUT THERE.

Because the reality is.....out there is where people need to see the power and glory of God.

Out there is where your worship turns into witness.

Out there is where hurting hearts are watching how you respond..... where broken people are desperate to see that the God we sing about in here is still moving.....out there.

So don’t just carry a song...walk it.

Because when you walk in the Spirit, the same presence that fills this room goes with you into every room you step into.

Because real worship doesn’t end when the music stops.

It begins when your feet hit the ground.
