Repurposing

Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.  Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?  I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.                    - Isaiah 43:18-19  Whew!  It's been a journey!  While I am glad to be this far into it, I am saddened that not everything that the Lord has done was documented.  HOWEVER, I will share as He brings it to my remembrance.    I will be using this to post my studies that I share twice a month in church and also to share my personal studies as they arise and the Lord leads me to share them.   The grief and healing journey I have been on since my son passed from suicide is more of an in-person ministry right now as it is a raw and sensitive situation.  I am very protective over my son and his sisters and have an obligation to protect their privacy. The Posture of Victory

There are times in life that we find ourselves standing in the middle of a battle……and when we look around all we can see are the things that didn’t work out, the prayers that feel unanswered, or the places that seem too far gone.

I want to remind you….that our God is NOT intimidated by what looks impossible!

He steps right into the middle of the fight and begins to work behind the scenes …turning what the enemy meant for harm into something that brings Him glory.

In Genesis 50:20, Joseph stood before his brothers and declared” But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.”

God is still doing that today....He's still taking what was meant to destroy us,
and using it to deliver us.

The Word of God confirms it again in Romans 8:28:

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God,
to them who are the called according to His purpose.

That means He’s not just working in the easy things...... He’s working in the broken things, the painful things, the things we don’t understand. And somehow, He turns it all for His glory and for our good.

The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is alive and moving in this place....
in you, in your family, in EVERY situation that looks impossible!

He’s the God who brings beauty out of ashes
.
He’s the God who turns mourning into dancing.

He’s the God who calls dead things back to life......
and what once looked like a grave becomes the very ground where new things grow!

So tonight, we’re not worshiping from defeat......we’re worshiping from victory!
The battle is already won! The blood has already spoken!

Let faith rise up in this room!! Don’t praise Him based on what you feel.....praise Him because you KNOW WHO HE IS!

He’s good!
He’s faithful!
And He’s STILL turning it around!
