Repurposing

Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.  Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?  I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.                    - Isaiah 43:18-19  Whew!  It's been a journey!  While I am glad to be this far into it, I am saddened that not everything that the Lord has done was documented.  HOWEVER, I will share as He brings it to my remembrance.    I will be using this to post my studies that I share twice a month in church and also to share my personal studies as they arise and the Lord leads me to share them.   The grief and healing journey I have been on since my son passed from suicide is more of an in-person ministry right now as it is a raw and sensitive situation.  I am very protective over my son and his sisters and have an obligation to protect their privacy. Sorting Through the Stirring

Whenever I share my blog posts on Facebook, they show up with the same generic look—and honestly, it started to bore me. So today, I played around with a few logo ideas and landed on one that actually feels like me. It might evolve over time, but for now, I’m rolling with it.

Still undecided on the color scheme...pink background with white lettering, or white background with pink? Either way, it’s fun experimenting.

Lately, Justin and I have been talking about branching out from just construction. I’ve been craving something that gives me space to pour my creativity and humor into...maybe even something the girls can be part of too. I’m starting to get excited about the possibilities.

Also… the cafe. So many people keep asking when it’s going to happen. Truth is, it’s been on my heart for years now, and instead of fading, that pull is only getting stronger. But before I take a big leap like that, I know it needs to be grounded in prayer and fasting. That’s where I’m at right now—listening, waiting, and getting ready.

If you’ve made it this far...thank you. It means more than you know to have people who care, encourage, and walk alongside us as we figure things out one step at a time. I don’t have it all mapped out yet, but I’m learning to trust the process, listen closely, and move with intention.

Sending love to anyone else in a season of dreaming, shifting, or waiting. You’re not alone.
