The Silence That Hurts

You’ve seen it.

That post with the flashy before-and-after pics. “My clients lost 20 pounds in 30 days just by eating this for breakfast! Comment ‘BREAKFAST’ and I’ll DM you the details.”

So....you bite. You comment “BREAKFAST” (like a clown), and what do you get? Not the recipe. Not the food. Not even the ingredients. Just another hoop. “Hey love! Thanks for commenting! Let me send you a link to join my exclusive 4-week coaching course to unlock the full plan.”

Translation: Give me money, your email, your privacy, and maybe I’ll tell you what  they ate.

This is modern-day gatekeeping.

They’ve got the solution, they've got the secret.....but they lock it up behind a wall of effort, cash, or cringe. And it’s not just in the health world. It's in business, in education, even in basic life tips.

"Want to know how I make $20k a month while I sit and crochet on the beach in Bali?!"

Yeah. You and 80 other accounts all selling each other the same course like a pyramid of smoke and mirrors. **insert eye-roll here**

How about the WORST kind of gatekeeping?

Forget the breakfast hacks and six-figure sales funnels. There’s a more dangerous kind of gatekeeping happening all the time.

The gatekeeping of truth.
Of healing.
Of deliverance.
Of freedom.
Of Jesus.

There are people walking around today full of peace, deliverance, healing—because of what Jesus did in their lives. And yet... they say nothing.

Why?

Because of fear. Fear of being mocked. Judged. Labeled as “too religious” or “one of those people.” So they keep the truth to themselves. They lock it up. They put it behind their silence like a paywall.

Because they PRE-QUALIFY others ....they look at someone and assume, “Oh, they’re not interested in what I have to say,” and keep scrolling, keep quiet, keep it moving.

Because rejection feels personal.
Because the world is loud and truth feels fragile.

But here’s the thing: people are starving. Not for weight-loss breakfasts. For answers. For healing. For hope. For Jesus.

And some of us are standing there holding the Bread of Life like it’s a VIP secret.
Jesus Didn’t Gatekeep. Ever.

He didn’t say, “Comment ‘HEALING’ and I’ll DM you.”
He didn’t ask the bleeding woman for a donation before healing her.
He didn’t ask the blind man to subscribe to a program.
He didn’t ask Lazarus for paperwork before calling him out of the grave.

He gave. Freely. Publicly. Boldly.

What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops. -
Matthew 10:27

That’s the opposite of gatekeeping. That’s broadcasting truth with no fear. No shame.

And in Mark 16:15, Jesus didn’t say, “Wait for them to ask you about Me.”
He said:
Go ye into all the world, and *preach the gospel to every creature.

That means everyone gets access. No hoops. No fees. No exclusivity. Just truth. Just Jesus.

WE HAVE TO BREAK THE GATES!

It’s time we stop hoarding what we know.

If Jesus set you free from depression, say it.
If He delivered you from addiction, share it.
If He gave you peace in the middle of chaos, don’t keep that to yourself like it’s a trade secret.

We don’t need more influencers guarding the gospel like a limited-edition drop.
We need BOLD people. HONEST people. Open mouths. Open hands.

Let’s stop treating testimonies like MLM scripts. Let’s stop making the answer harder to reach than it already feels.

People are desperate - and they NEED to know The Way.

Don’t gatekeep the gospel!
Give it like Jesus did.....freely, fully, and fearlessly.
