Repurposing

Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.  Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it?  I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.                    - Isaiah 43:18-19  Whew!  It's been a journey!  While I am glad to be this far into it, I am saddened that not everything that the Lord has done was documented.  HOWEVER, I will share as He brings it to my remembrance.    I will be using this to post my studies that I share twice a month in church and also to share my personal studies as they arise and the Lord leads me to share them.   The grief and healing journey I have been on since my son passed from suicide is more of an in-person ministry right now as it is a raw and sensitive situation.  I am very protective over my son and his sisters and have an obligation to protect their privacy. You Shall Arise: Standing in Victory Amidst the Battle- 4.3.25

We are in a battle. A spiritual war rages around us…..one that seeks to wear us down, slow our steps, and even make us stumble. And if we’re honest, there are moments when we do stumble. Moments when the weight of life, the struggles, the attacks of the enemy, or even our own weaknesses cause us to fall.

But hear me tonight … falling is not the end. It is not defeat.

Micah 7:8
"Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord shall be a light unto me."

Did you catch that? WHEN I fall…not if…because God knew we would have moments of weakness. He knew there would be times when the battle would be fierce, and we’d find ourselves on our knees. But the verse doesn’t end there. It says I SHALL arise.

Not I might.
Not if I feel strong enough.
Not if the circumstances are right.

No. I SHALL arise. Because my strength is not my own. It is God who lifts me up. It is God who strengthens my weary hands. It is God who turns my darkness into light.

So, to everyone who has stumbled, to every heart that has grown weary—take courage. The enemy may have knocked you down, but he cannot keep you there. You will rise again. God Himself will see to it.

So, right now, as you stand to give honor and glory to God  - stand in victory. Don’t believe the lie that your fall is final. Stand up. Lift your voice and praise Him.

Because You SHALL arise!
