Through the Fog

This morning, the world outside my window looked like it had been tucked beneath a  heavy blanket. The fog had rolled in....thick, quiet, and disorienting. Everything familiar was still there, but hidden. Distances were blurred, colors muted, and depth hard to judge. The longer I looked at it, I couldn’t help but think

How often does life feel just like this?

Spiritually speaking... we walk through foggy seasons too! Moments where clarity is lost, direction feels uncertain, and even the trust in what we know seems to waver.

We KNOW God is there...unchanging, faithful, ever-present...but our sight grows dim under the weight of confusion, emotion, or spiritual heaviness.

In those moments, we must remember the truth that cuts through any fog!

“For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.” — 1 Corinthians 13:12

God is not foggy. He is not unsure. He sees perfectly, and He leads us gently even when we can't see past the next step.

The fog this morning reminds me to slow down...and not to rely on my own understanding but on the ONE WHO SEES IT ALL . Just as headlights cut through the mist a little at a time, so does God's Word light our path.....not always the whole road, but just enough for today.   Did you see what I said?  JUST ENOUGH FOR THE DAY!

So if you find yourself in a foggy season, don’t panic. God has not gone missing. He is nearer than ever, guiding you by faith and not by sight.

Keep your eyes on Him. Trust the direction He is taking you.

The fog WILL lift!

And when it does, oh how clear it will be!!!
