PRIDE SERIES - The spirit of pride

Ahh… the spirit of pride. 

It's rampant in today’s world—subtle, sneaky, and all too often mistaken for strength.

    Pride doesn’t always shout. Sometimes, it hides in quiet, passive places .... under the surface of hurt, behind a mask of boundaries, and even cloaked in false humility.

There are two faces to the spirit of pride:
--------> The arrogant, boastful side we all recognize.
--------> And then there's the passive, self-focused side that wallows in offense, silently demands loyalty, and builds walls disguised as “boundaries.”

**HEAR THIS THOUGH** 

You can be influenced by pride and still have a walk with God! 

You can even be used in ministry while pride sits undetected in the heart!

IT'S CALLED DECEPTION! 

That’s why we must invite the Lord to search the deep places within us.

Sometimes the things we cling to—bitterness, rejection, resentment.....become a fortress of pride we didn’t even realize we were building. 

My goal this month is to uncover this in depth!  

I want to understand and also help YOU understand how this looks and how to overcome (or help others overcome) and gain victory over this stronghold! 

I’ll be sharing what the Lord reveals through prayer and my studies!

Let’s confront the subtle pride that masquerades as wisdom and let the Lord tear down every high place in us!
